About

Tim has substantial experience in Australia and overseas in the conduct of commercial litigation, with a focus on matters involving insolvency, directors’ duties, equitable claims and professional negligence.  Tim also has experience in shareholder disputes and construction matters.  Tim regularly appears in the Federal Court and Supreme Court, both led and unled.

Tim joined the Bar in 2020.  Tim commenced practice at Kelly & Co (now HWLE) in 2000 before joining Lipman Karas (now LK Law) in 2005.  Between 2009 and 2020, Tim was a principal of Lipman Karas in Hong Kong and instructed on appeals to the Privy Council in London and Hong Kong Court of Final Appeal.

 

Tim has a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Adelaide.
